THE DILEMMA OF VOTE BUYING

Preambles: “Then Jacob said `Sell me this day your `birth-right’ And Esau said “Behold, I am about to die, so what profit will this birth-right be to me?” Then Jacob said “Swear to me this day.” And he swore to him. And he (ESAU) sold his birth-right to Jacob.” Genesis 25:31-33. IKJV.

Vote buying is like selling your birth-right to the devil. The money you get out of it is blood money.  Both the buyer and the seller have engaged themselves in an evil covenant. No good thing can ever result from such act. As 2019 General Election is coming up soon, my sincere advice to the electorate is to avoid selling and buying of vote. The only valid right you have is your Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to participate legally on the day of election. Therefore, avoid selling your birth-right for crumbs. You will bring a perpetual curse upon yourself and family.
INEC has a godly duty to conduct free, fair and credible election, or else all the officials of INEC who fraudulently manipulate the outcome of the election, before, during and after the election will automatically come under a terrible curse from God. The government in power and their agents, as well as the political party officials involved in encouraging vote buying and vote selling will also come under the curse of God. There is no escape for such persons. God made it very clear in the book of Deuteronomy 28:15 that “if you will not hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all His commandment and His statutes that I command you this day, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you-----Deuteronomy 28:16-68.
The blood of innocent lives that you have mortgage on the ALTAR OF ELECTION shall cry out to God and you and your family will suffer the wrath of God. He that has ear to hear let him hear what the Spirit is saying.

THE IMPACT OF TERRORISM IN NIGERIA

Preambles:  The word of God says "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 KJV.

What is Terrorism?
Terrorism is the use of violent action in order to achieve political aims or force a government to act.

By the above definition, it is very clear that a person engaged in such act is a terrorist. Hence the greatest terrorist is the devil. Jesus Christ described the devil as a thief, whose mission is to steal, to kill, and to destroy, in order to establish his own authority and power on earth. Anyone possessed with the spirit of terrorism is under the influence of the devil. Meanwhile, Jesus Christ came to this world to give us abundant life.

What are the impact of terrorism in Nigeria today?
These includes;
1.  Killing of innocent souls.
2.  Destruction of properties and communities.
3.  Stealing of personal belongings of others.
4.  Creating fear on the people.
5.  Causing great stress and hardship for people.
6.  Hindering the smooth running of the government.
7.  Provoking religious tension in the country.
Etc.

How to deal with terrorism in Nigeria?
1.  The first solution is for religious leaders to agree that acts of terrorism must not be accepted and they should address this ugly incidence as an act of war against the rest of the people in the country.
2.  Everybody must embrace the counsel of God`s word.
3.  Everyone must agree that terrorism is wickedness of man against his fellow man.
4.  We as a people must repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Personal Saviour.
5.  Government must deal decisively with anyone proven to be a terrorist.
6.  Government must ensure that they practice good governance, so as to improve on the quality of the life of the people.
7.  There should be a continuous dialogue between the government and the terrorist groups, so as to give them the opportunity to turn from their terrorist act, while still carrying on with military operations.

Conclusion:
Terrorism is a very terrible act that must be stamped out of the country. The people who suffer most are the women and children. Hence, everybody must be very watchful and be a good neighbour. Government must not relent in its effort to wipe out terrorism completely from the country. The word of God says "Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end: but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and minds. My defense is with  God who saves the upright in heart. God judges the righteous and God is angry with the wicked every day." Psalm 7:9-11. IKJV.

DEALING WITH INTERNAL SECURITY IN NIGERIA

Preambles: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will
say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust.--------------- Thou shall not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with
thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him and
honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.” Psalm 91:1-8; 14-16. KJV.

Guidelines for maintaining proper internal security in
Nigeria.
1.   Before there can be any real internal security, there must first of all an inward security of ones soul and spirit.
We must be reconciled back to God by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Personal Saviour. (See 2 Corinthians 5:17-19)
2.  We must observe good neighbourliness in the community we live
3.  Security agents must be well trained and properly equipped with proper weapons.
4.  Proper studies of our environment must be carried out constantly.
5.  There must be adequate gathering of information about the daily activities by the security agents
6.  Government must provide necessary facilities like communication systems, vehicles, and information technology to enhance internal security.
7.  Constant and effective prayers by every individual person must be made for the safety of lives and properties.

Conclusion: Only God can guarantee true protection and safety of people. Collectively, we must uphold the laws of our country and love one another, for us to enjoy true internal security.
