INTRODUCTION OF BREDAC FOUNDATION

BREDAC FOUNDATION is a non-partisan and apolitical organisation. Our vision and mission statements are as follows:

Vision Statement: Our vision is to actualize the dreams, development, needs and aspiration of the people of the South-South Region of Nigeria.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to ensure that every individual person in the South-South Region is guaranteed the basic necessities of life as obtained in any well-developed society, without violence.

Our Objectives are as follows:
1. To serve as a platform that will help see to the needs and aspirations of the entire people of the South-South Region of Nigeria.
2. To exert positive influence on the Government when necessary, so that the needs and aspirations of the people of the South-South Region are properly catered for.
3. To mediate between the communities in the South-South Region and Government on areas of conflict.
4. To promote peace in the South-South Region.
5. To help bring about rapid development in the South-South Region.
6. To encourage good governance in the South-South Region.
7. To promote values and ideas to building an egalitarian Society no matter the tribe into which one belongs.

What BREDAC Stands for:
BREDAC is the acronym for the six States that makes up the South-South Region of Nigeria.

B- Bayelsa.
R- Rivers.
E- Edo.
D- Delta.
A- Akwa Ibom.
C- Cross River.
